Downloading an Assessment Offline (iOS)

The is a step-by-step guide on how to download an assessment for offline completion on iOS and mobile devices. Be mindful there are slightly different instructions for Theory and Practical assessments, these is outlined in a) and b)

1. Login on a mobile device, make sure that you are Online

2. Whilst still Online: Download Competency 

a) For Practical Assessments, From the Dashboard scroll down and select Practical Assessments.
Find the desired practical assessment To download the practical, Press the button with two arrows next to the assessment.


After the button is pressed, wait for the assessment to be downloaded.

Once it has finished you will get a message (see below) Press 'Ok.'

If it is appearing in the Available Offline Assessments section, this means you have successfully downloaded the practical assessment and it is ready to be completed offline 


b) For Competencies including Theory, Informational etc.

Go to My Learning & Resources page



You will see a Cloud icon > To download press the cloud button, you will see a pop up message saying that your training competency is being downloaded. the Cloud icon filled/coloured blue means the assessment is available for offline completion

If network conditions are unreliable/slow and our support team has advised this, we strongly recommend proceeding with Step 3 and onwards

3. Once, the assessments have been downloaded, turn your device on Airplane Mode. 

4. Begin the assessment offline and complete the assessment offline

5. Save As Draft as you go to ensure the evidence and progress is saved.

6. Once finishing the Assessment, press 'Submit.'

7. Go back to an area or location where the network conditions are secure and fast. Turn Off Airplane Mode. Once connected to reliable and strong network again, begin syncing the assessments online.
