5.2 Reviewing Captured Evidence as a Coordinator or Above

Modified on Wed, 23 Jul at 10:23 AM

In LAAMP, users with the roles of Coordinator, Authoriser, or Administrator are responsible for reviewing evidence submitted through Practical Assessments, Logbooks, and other verification-based training. This evidence may include images, videos, audio recordings, documents, and signatures, all of which are tied to specific assessment items.

This page outlines how to locate, review, and verify captured evidence to ensure it meets compliance and competency standards.

Where to Review Evidence

  1. Go to the Approval List

From the Side Menu, navigate to the Approval List.

  2. Filter by Location and Course Type

    Select assessments marked as:

    • Awaiting Verification

    • Awaiting Authorisation

  3. Open the Assessment View

Click on the user’s name or the assessment to open the detailed view, where you’ll see:

    • Submitted answers

    • Attached evidence (photos, video, documents, etc.)

    • Submission timestamps

    • Assessment metadata (Assessor, date, location)

Viewing Evidence Types

In the Assessment View:

  • Images: You can right click and "Open in new Tab" to view the photo larger.

  • Videos: Play embedded recordings within the browser

  • Audio: Play voice clips directly on-page

  • Documents: Preview or download files for closer inspection

  • Signatures: Display user-drawn signatures for compliance or consent

Each item is tied to a specific assessment question, allowing you to quickly evaluate evidence in context.

Assessment Actions

After reviewing all content:

  • Click Verify if all responses and evidence meet expectations

  • Click Reject to send the entire assessment back for revision

  • Or use Partial Rejection (see 4.5.1) to flag individual items only

You can also:

  • Click Download Evidence Pack to save all attached files as a .ZIP

  • Click View Printable Report for an audit-ready summary of the assessment

Best Practices for Reviewing Evidence

  • Cross-reference media with the assessment criteria and expected answers

  • Ensure images and videos are clear, appropriate, and time-relevant

  • Look for complete and traceable documentation (especially signatures or permits)

  • Leave comments when rejecting or requesting clarification
