7.2 Understanding Training Statuses

Modified on Wed, 23 Jul at 11:02 AM

Training statuses in LAAMP help you quickly identify where a user stands in their learning journey—whether they’ve started, are in progress, need to repeat training, or have completed it successfully. These statuses appear across reports, user profiles, and dashboards, making it easier for Coordinators, Administrators, and Team Leads to monitor training outcomes.

This page explains what each status means and how it impacts reporting, compliance, and training workflows.

Status-Specific Actions

  • Not Started / In Progress

Use reporting filters to follow up with users and drive completion.

  • Awaiting Verification / Authorisation

Indicates administrative action is needed. Appears in the Approval List.

  • Expired / Reissued

Indicates retraining may be required. Use this to trigger renewal campaigns or update schedules.

  • Completed / Competent

No further action needed. Appears as green status in most reports.

Tips for Managing Statuses

  • Run regular reports filtered by In Progress, Awaiting Verification, or Expired to stay ahead of compliance lapses.

  • Use the Reissued and Renewed statuses to track training refresh cycles.

  • In Competency setup, define expiration windows and reissue logic to keep statuses up to date automatically.
