7.1 Using LAAMP’s Reporting Tools

Modified on Wed, 23 Jul at 10:51 AM

LAAMP offers a suite of built-in reporting tools that allow Coordinators, Administrators, and Authorisers to track training progress, compliance status, and competency outcomes across teams, roles, and locations.

Whether you’re preparing for an audit, monitoring workforce readiness, or identifying training gaps, LAAMP’s reports give you the insights you need to act confidently.

Accessing Reports

  1. Go to the Reports section via the Dashboard or Side Menu.

  2. Depending on your permissions, you’ll see a list of available reports.

  3. Select the report type and use filters to narrow down the data (e.g. by user, team, role, competency, location, or timeframe).

  4. Click “Generate Report” to view the results.

Available Report Types

  • Skills Matrix

Displays a grid view showing which users have completed which competencies. Useful for identifying who is qualified and who still needs training.

  • Compliance Report

Shows compliance percentage by Location and Role, based on training requirements tied to assigned competencies.

  • Competency Report

Lists users assigned to a specific Competency and their completion status (e.g., Not Started, In Progress, Completed).

  • Course Report

Tracks individual Course completion across users, showing who has or hasn’t completed a specific Course.

  • Outstanding Assessments Report

Highlights assessments that are still awaiting completion—useful for monitoring bottlenecks in Practical Assessments or overdue tasks.

  • Course Completion Over Time

Displays trends in Course completions over a selected time period. Useful for seeing spikes in activity or measuring the impact of recent training deployments.

  • Evidence Report - Accessible from a User's Details Page via the User List

Aggregates evidence collected in assessments (images, videos, documents), useful for audits and review of assessment integrity.

Filtering and Exporting

Each report allows filtering by a subset of the following:

  • User

  • Role

  • Team

  • Location

  • Competency

  • Course

  • User Type

  • Assessment Type

  • Date Range

Once a report is generated, you can:

  • View it in-browser

  • Export it as a CSV

  • Print it for meetings, audits, or compliance reviews

Best Practices

  • Use the Skills Matrix monthly to track high-level training status.

  • Review the Outstanding Assessments report weekly to follow up on overdue tasks.

  • Prior to audits, generate Compliance Reports for all key locations.

  • Share Course Completion Over Time data with managers to show training engagement trends.
